It's a New Day

Good Morning all ,I haven't been very good about keeping up with my blog but i promise to better !! Alot of changes this year so far,where do I start !! Mom is moving to a beautiful retirement commuity in Watertown,she's bought a duplex there and were busy packing and moving small items over for her,the big day is a month away so the month of April will be busy for all.But she is so excited,as I am excited for her!!I'll keep you posted as things progress maybe even a few pictures !! lol!

It's been very busy for me,work has been hectic-I swear there are no well people out there ! For those who don't know I'm a LPN at UW Health in Fort Atkinson,it's very busy clinic with 4 doctors,I do triage and some days the call are so many I just can't stand talking on the phone after work!! LOL! April brings changes at the clinic,we are going LIVE,which means we'll be paperless charting,this should be VERY interesting to say the least !! I'm looking forward to it,the process will streamline so many things and make it easier for all to keep track of daily contacts with patient care.But it will be a crazy month,I'm sure that not all have apositive attitude about the changes,but I'm looking forward to it.

Let's see what else,exciting news for me !! The beginning of Febuary I was excepted as a creative team member for Aimee Harrison Designs,I just love her kits,they are so colorful and full of life,so you'll be seeing post of new kits and LO's from ME with her wonderful designs !!

Anywho,I'm off to get a few things done around the house !!! Have a great day !!

Life's Changes

Wow, I've been bad,haven't been here in ages !! Well I have some new things in my life so I've made some updates to my blog,still tweeking !! Another big event,my Mom had her other hip replaced,whew! She got out of the hospital on Thursday,Lor(sis) stayed with her for the first 2 days and I'm off to help her out until Monday.

No internet at her place no I won't be around for a few days but I'll be back on Monday with a

More Snow

It's been a few days so I thought I'd pop in & post an update. We've had 2 days of bitter cold weather,Monday was - 25 wind chill,the wind was terrible and yesterday wasn't much better.Today it warmed up some but now we have snow,we could get 3-6 inches ,it's suppose to snow till around midnight,I'm so glad I don't have to work tomorrow!! Then on Thursday it's forecast to blow in big storm,8-14 inches with blowing & drifting.My hubby & I are suppose to have our company Christmas Parties,his on Friday night & mine on Saturday,we'll have to see which way this storm actually moves.

I have been sick lately so I haven't felt like finishing shopping and Christmas is right around the corner,so you know what i'll be doing tomorrow.Good thing is the stores should be kind of quite,unless there's a snow day.I'll keep my fingers crossed that doesn't happen. Well I gotta go,I'm finishing a scarf I'm knitting for my secret person at work and it has be done by Friday.Have a great night & I'll try to post again in the next couple of days !! Chow !!

The Beginning

Good Morning to all,This is my first attempt at blogging so bare with me while I work out the bugs and finalize my design.I live in the great mid-west and we are in for another snow storm this one promises to dump up to a foot of snow in some areas.It is forecasted to start around mid day with freezing rain & sleet before turning to all snow over night.I'm sure all the kids will love this,sure to be alot of school closing- probably sometime today depending on how bad it gets.Well I probably be back later today with a update & maybe a few pics of our wonderful weather.Chow for now.
